My final project in MIT 2.156: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Engineering Design was focused on applying contrastive learning to improve the classification of images for recycling purposes. The element that I focused on was the Grad-CAM inspection of the images in order to understand the features that the vision models were using to classify the images.
