I was the Mechanical Lead for a project in my MIT 2.733 Engineering Systems Design class where the goal was to design a fully functional bicycle that uses hydrogen, which is generated on board, as needed, through an aluminum and water reaction. The hydrogen is run through a fuel cell, and then an electric motor propels the bike.
